Daily living support in shared living
Support with the daily tasks of running a home when you live with other people, arranged around your routine and the people you live with.
What this support can include
- Help with daily tasks in a shared home
- Support that fits around housemates' routines
- Building independence in everyday tasks
- Planning for a move into shared living
Who it suits
People who live in, or are planning a move into, a shared living arrangement and have daily living support funded in their plan.
How it works with your plan
In the NDIS Pricing Schedule, these supports sit under Assistance with Daily Life (Core). Prices for shared living are usually worked out from a roster of care agreed with the NDIA.
Whether your plan includes funding for this support is up to the NDIA. If you're not sure, call us and we'll talk it through.
Talk to us first
Shared living supports are planned carefully, home by home. If you live in, or are exploring, a shared living arrangement, tell us what you need and we'll tell you honestly whether we can organise it. ARG Care doesn't provide Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) housing or high intensity supports.
Who delivers your support
Your support is delivered by a support worker who works with ARG Care, either directly or under contract. Either way, they work under ARG Care's NDIS registration and we remain responsible for the support you receive.
Prices
Prices stay within the NDIS price limits and depend on the support arrangement. We'll agree everything with you in writing before support starts.
